A crash has closed a road in Swindon in both directions this evening.
There’s a large police presence at the scene of the serious incident in Dorcan Way, between The Messenger and the Esso service station, at around 7pm.
The Swindon Bus Company says its Service 2 has been diverted away from Nythe due to a “major accident” on Dorcan Way”. Buses are using Drakes Way and Oxford Road in both directions to access Kingfisher Drive.
One witness said it appears as if ‘three cars had been involved’, with one ‘mounting the pavement and crashing into a wall’.
Another added that one vehicle has ‘broken through a wall and is in a garden’.
UPDATE 8.50PM: A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “It involved a black Vauxhall, a red Toyota and a grey Mini.
“Paramedics are currently at the scene but nobody is believed to be seriously injured.”
