An elderly woman who was pulled from the River Avon yesterday has died in hopsital.
Emergency services were called to a report to a person floating face down in the water in Monkton Park at around 8.30am on Monday morning.
She was rescued from the water and treated by South Western Ambulance Service paramedics and specialist critical care medics from Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
She was then taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by land ambulance but later died.
Wiltshire Police have confirmed they are not treating her death as suspicious.
