An elderly driver from Amesbury has been charged with killing a woman in a crash.
83-year-old Mary Thomson faces a charge of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.
It relates to a road traffic collision outside The Hawk Inn in Amport, near Andover, in 2024.
A blue Volkswagen Polo was the only vehicle involved in the smash in Sarson Lane on 4 April.
80-year-old Pamela Lytle, a passenger in the Volkswagen, suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Thomson, of Abbey Mews, Amesbury, is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court for a plea hearing tomorrow (Friday 15 May).
The case was previously open and adjourned at a court in Hampshire. For unknown reasons, the case was transfer to a court closer to the defendant.
