A woman has been charged following the murder of a man in Easterton, near Devizes.
Emergency services were called to an house in Strawberry Fields following the fatal stabbing of 48-year-old Bristol man Raymond Groves on Tuesday (2 July).
53-year-old Helen Shakespeare – the occupant of the address – was arrested at the scene.
She has since been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Shakespeare has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Saturday, 6 July).
Detectives have also arrested a man aged in his 30s on suspicion of murder.
A woman aged in her 20s was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and conspiracy to commit murder.
Both suspects remain in custody for questioning.
