Police have seized drugs, cash and mobile phones during raids in Devizes.
Officers entered two properties – one in Eastleigh Road – early on Thursday (12 October).
Armed police and a specially-trained search dog were on hand to support local officers.
After combing the properties, cocaine, cash and mobile phones were seized for examination.
No arrests were made in connection with the drugs warrant. It’s believed suspects will be invited in for an interview at a later date, as the investigation progresses.
“It is a major disruption”, Police and Crime Commissioner Philip Wilkinson said.
Adding: “This will have a serious negative effect on individuals and country lines and all the harm caused.”
In a statement yesterday, Mr Wilkinson said: “This morning I’ve been out with police officers who were executing warrants in Devizes where intelligence suggested there could be large amounts of drugs at an address.
“Enforcement of this kind is incredibly important in putting a stop to county lines networks which are complex, often hidden, and target some of the most vulnerable people in Wiltshire and Swindon.
“I was pleased to be able to see the officers in action and support them during today’s operation.”
