UPDATED: A suspected drug driver has been arrested after a crash on the A417 near Wiltshire.
Emergency services, including Thames Valley Air Ambulance, were called to the crash close to Buscot Park at around 8.30am this morning (Wednesday).
Firefighters from Oxfordshire attended to extricate the driver from a silver Mercedes following a single-vehicle road traffic collision four miles northwest of Faringdon.
They suffered only minor injuries – but reportedly failed to roadside drug wipe, testing positive for cocaine.
The driver is understood to have been arrested by Thames Valley Police and is in custody.
