A driver successfully fled police in Trowbridge today – but the car may be crushed.
The light blue Mazda was lost by officers who wanted to stop it earlier this afternoon (Monday).
The vehicle was later located abandoned in Centenary Close, off Devizes Road in Hilperton. With no tax, insurance or MOT, it was seized.
A roads policing spokesperson called on the driver to make contact with the force, and added: ‘Until then, warm up the crusher!’
