A driver is likely to lose their licence after using a mobile phone whilst behind the wheel.
Roads policing officers were dealing with a large oil spill on the A350 in Chippenham this afternoon (Friday) when they spotted the offence being committed.
A delivery driver was seen reversing their van whilst texting – right next to two marked police vehicles and a traffic cop.
With six points on their licence already, the matter was sent to court. Magistrates will have the final say over whether or not the person is banned from driving.
