A tanker overturned on a country lane near Chippenham yesterday (13 September).
Emergency services were called to the scene on an unnamed road north of Hullavington at around 12.20pm following reports of the road traffic collision.
On arrival, 999 crews discovered a tanker – carrying water – had overturned.
Police closed the road between Hullavington and Norton whilst firefighters made the scene safe and paramedics assess the driver.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said two fire crews, from Calne and Chippenham, attended the incident.
The driver suffered only minor injuries. It’s understood they were taken to hospital as a precaution.
The road was closed reportedly closed for more than two hours for complex recovery work.
