A driver has crashed on the M4 in Swindon after falling asleep at the wheel.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision on the motorway at Junction 16 today (Monday).
The incident involved a black Audi Avant, which left the carriageway and came to rest in a field.
A spokesperson for the Roads Policing Unit at Wiltshire Police said it shows “the stark reality of driving tired”.
Nobody was injured in the crash, the force confirmed.
