A driver crashed his BMW on the A419 after ‘going home from work unwell’.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision on the stretch of carriageway near Cricklade at around 1.15pm on Monday 6 January.
The single-vehicle smash involved a grey BMW – believed to be a 4 Series.
Police blocked one lane as other 999 crews arrived at the incident, with paramedics assessing the driver – a man – and firefighters making the scene safe.
It’s understood he had been travelling home to Marlborough, having left his workplace in Gloucester after feeling unwell.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they sent two crews, from Stratton, to the crash and remained there until just after 3pm.
