Emergency services were called to Bank Street following a road traffic collision involving three vehicles at around 3.10pm yesterday (Tuesday, 23 January).

A man, aged in his 70s, was cut free from a silver Ford Focus by firefighters after sustaining injuries in the incident.

The casualty was taken to hospital for treatment, but is expected to recover.

Wiltshire Police confirmed that a woman, aged in her 20s, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

Both suspects remain in custody for questioning this morning (Wednesday).
