Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance has landed in north Wiltshire this afternoon, after a casualty suffered what is understood to be a serious leg injury.
The helicopter touched down in a field near Baydons Lane and Long Close, off London Road, at 2.20pm.
Residents witnessed paramedics carrying a female casualty on a stretcher being put in the air ambulance at around 2.45pm. The casualty was then flown to Southmean Hospital in Bristol.
