A domestic violence protection order has been made against a woman from Marlborough.
34-year-old Holly Anderson was served with a domestic violence protection notice on Sunday 19 July following an incident involving her boyfriend.
At Swindon Magistrates Court last week, Wiltshire Police’s application for a domestic violence protection order (DVPO) was granted.
The woman, of Rogers Meadow, Marlborough, is banned from molesting (contacting / pestering) her boyfriend directly or indirectly for 28 days.
The prohibition includes contact by letter, telephone, text message, social media or any other means of communication.
She’s further prohibited from entering her property in Rogers Meadow, and is required to leave the address as of the moment the order was imposed.
DVPOs order civil orders made in a criminal court following a hearing about the allegations of an incident of domestic abuse that led to police being alerted.
Breaching the order can result in a criminal record and a sentence of up to two months behind bars.
