A six-vehicle pile-up is causing disruption for motorists on the A419 in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to the multi-vehicle road traffic collision above the Rat Trap Roundabout at around midday today (Saturday).
The incident, on the northbound carriageway, involved five cars and a further vehicle – which is no longer at the scene.
The road was closed for a short time while 999 crews attended.
As of 1pm, only one lane remained blocked and traffic was flowing slowly past.
Nobody is believed to have been seriously injured and recovery of the vehicles involved is ongoing.
In a post on social media, Wiltshire Police wrote: “Our officers are currently responding to a multi vehicle collision on the A419, northbound, near to the Rat Trap pub.
“There is likely to be delays for some time. Thank you for your patience.”
