The discovery of a woman’s body in Chippenham sparked a police presence today (Thursday).
Emergency services, including numerous ambulance vehicles, were called to an address in Audley Road at around midday.
A woman, aged in her 50s, was declared dead at the scene.
Local residents reported seeing a large police presence at the address following the find.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that the death is “not being treated as suspicious”, stating that her next of kin has been informed.
“Our thoughts are with her family”, a force spokesperson added.
