A motorcyclist from Devizes died in a collision with a car in Lacock late on Sunday night.
Emergency services responded to 999 calls reporting the serious crash on the A350 at the junction with Melksham Road at around 10.20pm yesterday, 5 August.
The incident involved a Vauxhall Insignia and Kawasaki motorcycle.
A member of the public arrived on scene just seconds after the crash and provided CPR to the male motorcyclist until paramedics took over. Sadly, their life-saving efforts were unsuccessful.
The occupants of the Vauxhall suffered minor injuries.
