Detectives in Wiltshire have launched an appeal for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Salisbury city centre earlier this week.

It’s believed the incident happened around 3pm on Tuesday 9 May, in Culver Street Car Park.

The woman was treated for minor injuries.

Detective Sergeant Greg Fergusson said: “We’d like to speak to anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious in or around this area at this time.

“We need to establish what happened here in what is a busy location in broad daylight, so if you saw or heard anything unusual please contact us.

“If you can help with our enquiries please contact Salisbury CID on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.”
