A delivery driver’s had his car seized after failing to insure it for business use.
Special constables came across the vehicle en-route back to police HQ in Devizes when it flagged up on the Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system.
On pulling the vehicle – a silver Peugeot – over, it was found it wasn’t legal for use on public roads. It was also found that the car didn’t have an MOT, tax or insurance.
The driver was reported for the offences and the car was seized.
