Delays are building as emergency services attend a crash on the M4 in Wiltshire.

999 crews were called to a road traffic collision on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 18 and 17 at around 10am this morning (Tuesday).

The incident, which involved two vehicles, is blocking two of the three lanes in the Acton Turville area.

Nobody is believed to have been seriously injured, but traffic is forming behind the partial closure.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Two lanes are blocked on the M4 between Junction 18 and Leigh Delamere Services following a road traffic collision involving two vehicles.

“Thank you for your patience while we assist making the area safe.”
