A deer’s body parts have been strewn across the A419 after a crash in Swindon.
A car struck the animal on the northbound carriageway between White Hart Roundabout and the Stratton exit slip at around 1pm today (Saturday).
Police are understood to be en route to the incident, which has partially blocked the road.
There are traffic delays on the approach to the gory scene.
‘Please be careful on A419 between White Hart Roundabout entrance and Dobbies exit Swindon’, a witness said.
Adding: ‘A car has hit a deer, the deer is in the middle of both lanes and the car has stopped in lane one.’
