A dealer has been jailed after stashing cocaine and cash at his girlfriend’s house.
Police raided Maddison Seymour’s address in Loyalty Street, Chippenham, over concerns about Paul Fisher drug activities back in February 2021.
At a hearing in 2022, Swindon Magistrates’ Court was told that officers executed a drugs warrant at Seymour’s property – discovering approximately £6,000 worth of cocaine under the floor.
According to financial investigator Tom Phesse, thousands of pounds in cash was also found inside a vacuum cleaner. A pellet pistol was also located at the address.
35-year-old Fisher, of Cherhill Way, Calne, has since pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine and the possession of criminal property – namely £15,000 in cash.
At Swindon Crown Court yesterday (19 February), he was jailed for three years.
28-year-old Seymour was charged with two offences under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 in relation to money and the purchasing and reselling gold bullion. However, both charges were dismissed after the Crown Prosecution Service offered no evidence.
