A pair of dogs have been seized by police in Swindon after a child was injured.
Officers responded to reports of two dogs being out of control in Freshbrook shortly before 5pm yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, 27 June).
On arrival, the dogs had been retrieved and returned to their home address – but not before a child sustained minor injuries. They did not require hospital treatment.
Three cats were reportedly attacked during the incident and sustained fatal wounds.
Dog handlers seized both animals as an investigation into events has been launched. No arrests have been made in connection with the probe.
