A cyclist has been rushed to hospital following a cardiac arrest in Swindon.
The medical incident happened at the roadside on the A3102, near junction 16 of the M4, at around 2.30pm this afternoon.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed at the scene as critical care medics provided specialist support to local paramedics prior to the casualty being taken to Great Western Hospital.
The road was closed on both directions whilst emergency services worked on the cyclist. It was open by 3.15pm, just moments before the air ambulance took to the skies.
The condition of the casualty is currently unknown.
