A cyclist has been airlifted to hospital after a serious crash near Trowbridge.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision in Whaddon Lane, Hilperton, at around 10.10am on Saturday morning (11 May).
The incident, which involved a car and a cyclist, happened outside Hilperton Village Hall.
Two air ambulance helicopters were deployed to the scene – Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
Critical care medics treated the cyclist, a man aged in his 70s, for serious injuries.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance subsequently airlifted him to Major Trauma Centre at Southmead Hospital in Bristol for further care.
No arrests were made in connection with the incident, Wiltshire Police confirmed.
