A huge brawl has broken out in Swindon town centre this afternoon (Friday).
Police were called to The Parade following a disorder involving about ten people at 3.15pm.
At least two people have sustained injuries, with one person being treated on the ground.
A section of the shopping area was cordoned off as a crime scene until 5pm.
Police officers gathered evidence – including swabbing chairs and a fire extinguisher, which were reportedly used as weapon.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We were called to The Parade just after 3.15pm today following reports of approximately 10 people involved in a fight.
“At this very early stage, we believe two people have been injured. Ambulance are in attendance.”
The spokesperson added: “Enquiries are ongoing.
“If you witnessed the disorder and have not made yourself known to officers, please do so immediately. Call 101 and quote log number 207 of today.”
