A road in Swindon has been closed after a concerning hole appeared.
Stafford Street, in Old Town, was shut by Swindon Borough Council this morning following a report of the road falling in on itself.
According to reports, the hole is approximately the size of a drain cover.
The road is closed between Raggett Street and Hythe Road.
The council say they are awaiting the arrival of Thames Water – it’s believed they are responsible for fixing the hole and making the area safe.
