A Highworth man has denied assaulting his former partner on numerous occasions.
Joshua Gevaux, 21, pleaded not guilty to the charge at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on 8 December.
The defendant, of Brookfield, is accused of pinching and pulling the hair of his former girlfriend on more than one occasion between 15 April and 4 June this year.
He claimed the alleged victim consented to the behaviour during intimacy.
A trial will take place in 2023. Gevaux was released on bail.
