A Chippenham stalker has been remanded in custody after a Christmas Day incident.
Tyson Miller was arrested after going to Marshall Street – which he prohibited from doing by a non-molestation order imposed by the family court.
The 38-year-old, of Hill Rise, has a history of stalking and harassing former partners. In December last year, he was jailed for 12 months.
In that case – involving the same woman – he was described as ‘relentlessly’ contacting her. He even breached his bail conditions, continuing after his arrest.
On 29 December, Miller was back before Swindon Magistrates Court having attended the street of his victim on Christmas Day.
He pleaded guilty to breaching a non-molestation order. Due to having a history of similar offending, the defendant was remanded in custody.
An application for bail was made, but magistrates didn’t grant it – citing his previous record and character, and that he was likely to offend – which would cause injury or fear of injury.
Miller will be produced for sentence at the same court on 19 January.
