A Chippenham route is partially blocked after a road traffic collision in rush hour.
Emergency services were called to Avenue La Fleche shortly after 5pm today (Monday) following a report of a pedestrian being hit by a car.
The man, whose age is unknown, was taken into an ambulance and checked over by paramedics.
A friend of the injured man claimed he’d accidentally walked into a car’s path.
The casualty isn’t thought to have suffered any serious injuries in the incident and is unlikely to require treatment in hospital.
At 6pm, the route remained partially blocked by an ambulance and fire officer’s car – though the emergency vehicles are expected to move from the scene shortly.
