A man from Chippenham faces trial over an alleged serious sexual assault on a woman.
Adrian ‘Andy’ Wright, 62, is accused of penetrating the vagina of a woman without her consent in 2022.
Appearing at Swindon Crown Court on 31 March, he pleaded not guilty to the charge – along with another of sexual assault by touching.
A trial date was set for 25 September. The defendant was released on bail.
The alleged victim in this case has the lifelong legal right to anonymity. It is an imprisonable criminal offence to share any piece of information that could lead to their identification.
