A man who was confronted by paedophile hunters in Bath city centre yesterday has been released on bail while police investigate the incident further.
The 38-year-old man, from Chippenham, was allegedly in Bath to meet at girl that he believed was 14-years-old, but instead was detained by Western Hunters – a group dedicated to catching online sexual predators and handing them over to the police.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “A 38-year-old local man has been released under investigation while our enquiries continue. We are unable to comment further or give more detailed information on this case while a police investigation is ongoing.”
