Wiltshire Police is investigating a potential child abduction in Trowbridge.
It comes after a young child was reportedly taken into a van and driven away from Green Lane Farm in Trowbridge yesterday (Wednesday, 14 September).
The incident happened on the abandoned site between 5pm and 7pm.
Children playing nearby have reported a van arriving via Godley Lane and taking a young child away from the farm.
The van driver is being asked to contact the force and identify themselves.
“It’s unclear if this is just a parent collecting their child from the area or if a child has been abducted”, a police spokesperson said.
Adding: “If you have any information, please contact us on 101 quoting reference 54220097294.”
