A cat has reportedly been shot with an air gun during an incident in Trowbridge.
It’s claimed the pet is currently in a critical condition and being cared for by vets following the attack between 3-5pm on Friday evening (16 September).
The sickening incident is said to have taken place in the Clarendon Road area.
The cat sustained a wound to her back – which left the ‘bullet’ embedded in her chest.
Another person reported that their van window was shot and shattered by what is believed to be an air gun pellet.
Both incidents are said to have been reported to police, and investigations are ongoing.
