Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious incident in Swindon.
A casualty was reportedly being given CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) at the roadside at around 7pm, with a large police and ambulance service response.
Two ambulances, an ambulance car and several police vehicles are attending the scene in Kingshill Road, near the roundabout connecting it with Bath Road, in Old Town.
It’s not yet clear if there is a criminal investigation underway or if the incident is solely a medical emergency.
A crime scene cordon is in place but the road remains open – partially blocked by 999 crews.
UPDATE 8.15PM: The ambulance service has left the scene, with just two police vehicles remaining. There is no longer a cordon in place.
UPDATE 9PM: Wiltshire Police has confirmed that a 64-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His death is not being treated as suspicious and his next of kin have been informed.
