The occupants of a car have narrowly escaped death after a lorry overturned in Wiltshire.
Emergency services were called to the dramatic road traffic collision on the A338 just north of Tidworth at around 8pm on Friday (14 February).
An Aldi-branded HGV and a silver Vauxhall Corsa were involved, with the car partially crushed.
Nobody is believed to have sustained serious injuries.
“A very lucky escape for the drivers of these vehicles this evening”, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police’s roads policing unit said.
Adding that the road “will be closed for the night pending recovery efforts”.
The incident happened on a staggered crossroads with the A342 for Ludgershall, resulting in several road closures while the vehicles were recovered.
