A car was completely destroyed in a crash on the A303 yesterday (Thursday, 23 November).
Emergency services, including Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, were called to a road traffic collision near Chicklade at around 6.30pm.
Firefighters assisted in removing at least one casualty from a vehicle involved, with numerous ambulance crews also sent to the incident.
Despite the wreckage, nobody sustained any serious injuries.
A roads policing spokesperson warned: “Look out for other motorists and please pay attention!”, suggesting that careless driving was the cause of the collision.
