A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “This morning we were called to reports of a large vehicle fire on a residential street in [Calne].

“Due to the location of the incident a second fire engine was also mobilised from Chippenham Fire Station. Once in attendance we were greeted with camper van well alight.

“2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and a main 45mm jet were used to extinguish the fire and prevent further damage to surrounding vehicles. Wiltshire Police also attended along with a fire investigation officer and enquires are on going into the cause.”
