A bus and two cars have been involved in a multi-vehicle crash in Swindon.
County Road is closed as emergency services respond the ‘serious’ road traffic collision, which happened at around 3.15pm this afternoon (Saturday).
The incident involved a Stagecoach bus, a black convertible BMW and a blue Ford Kuga.
The bus has ploughed through a phone booth and the probation service depot, while the cars have impacted on the roundabout with Manchester Road.
Several fire crews and ambulances are in attendance – but nobody is believed to have sustained any signifiant injuries.
County Road and Manchester Road are expected to remain closed for several hours.
Motorists are being diverted on Transfer Bridges and the Magic Roundabout, and some areas are cordoned off to pedestrians while 999 crews deal with the scene.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Please be aware that County Road in Swindon is currently closed following a road traffic collision involving a bus and two cars.
“There are no reported serious injuries.
“County Road has been closed from the Transfer Bridges roundabout to the Magic Roundabout and is likely to remain so for some time.
“Drivers should consider alternative routes and plan for delays in the area.”
