A serious crash involving an overturned van has closed the A419 in Swindon this afternoon.
It happened on the southbound carriageway just before the Honda South junction at around 3.30pm, sparking a major 999 response.
A critical care car from Wiltshire Air Ambulance was seen responded to the incident.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision on the southbound carriageway of the A419, close to the junction for Honda South.
“The southbound carriageway has been closed while emergency services deal with the incident.
“Traffic is already building up in the area and we are asking motorists to find alternative routes.”
