A Wiltshire road was closed for nine hours overnight after a man died in a collision.
The fatal crash happened at around 9pm on the B4192 near Toll Cottage in Preston, near Marlborough, and involved a silver Ford Galaxy which left the road and rolled several times.
The passenger, a 41-year-old man from Thatcham, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle left the scene of the collision before emergency services arrived.
Thames Valley Police later arrested a 31-year-old man, of no fixed address, on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He remains in police custody.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “The road was closed for around nine hours and reopened shortly before 6am. Did you see the vehicle prior to the collision? Did you see a man fleeing the scene or do you know who the driver is?
