A teenage boy was attacked by an ‘unknown male wearing a Manchester City top’ in Trowbridge.
Police are investigating the incident which took place in Langford Road between 5pm and 6pm on 31 August.
A 13-year-old boy was approached by an unknown male and punched to the side of the face.
He wasn’t seriously hurt, but suffered a small amount of reddening and swelling to the left eye.
The suspect is described as: a white male with dark hair wearing a Manchester City football top, a black cap and light blue/black trousers.
“It was a random attack with the unknown male running away from the scene”, a force spokesperson said.
Adding: “If there are any witnesses to this incident or anyone who has information, please call 101 and reference the crime number: 54220092111.
“In mind of this, please remain vigilant in the area and report anything suspicious, advising children to remain in pairs or groups when possible.”
