The discovery of an explosive has sparked the closure of a busy route near Wiltshire.
The A4 Charnham Street in Hungerford has been shut in both directions today (Thursday).
It’s claimed suspected World War 2 munitions were unearthed on a building site in the area.
Police have closed the route to motorists and pedestrians as the risk is assessed.
The bomb squad is understood to have been tasked, with closures likely to remain in place for hours.
