A man’s body was discovered by staff at a homeless hostel in Chippenham yesterday (Monday).
Police were called to the scene at Alabaré-run Unity House in Wood Lane in the early evening.
At around 9.30pm, a private ambulance attended to collect the man from his room at the establishment.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that the death isn’t being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for Alabaré said: “We offer our deepest condolences to the family and friends of our resident who sadly died last night.
“We strive to offer the best quality of care to each of our clients which includes regularly checking the welfare of each resident as well as supporting them to access other health and welfare organisations to meet their individual needs.
“Many of those who find themselves homeless have underlying health conditions and complex challenges.”
