Two people are in hospital after a serious incident at an address in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to reports of a person jumping from a window in Parkstone Walk, off Cranmore Avenue, Park South, at around 8.20am this morning (Thursday).
Wiltshire Air Ambulance was deployed to the scene alongside local ambulance crews, with police backup arriving at the location a short time later.
Two people – one confirmed as a man – were taken to hospital for treatment. Their injuries aren’t thought to be life-threatening or life-changing, it has been confirmed by authorities.
A pool of blood was visible on paving slabs in the front garden, and there were blood stains on an upper-floor window frame and ledge.
One eyewitness claims they saw “someone fall head first out of a bedroom window”.
Crime scene investigators were at the property for around six hours, photographing the scene and gathering evidence – including fingerprints.
Despite the presence of forensics, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said the incident was “mental health” related and would not comment further.
