Arrest made as police officers carry out drugs raid at flat overlooking Swindon park

One person’s been arrested after police raided a flat in Swindon town centre today.

Ten police officers attended the property that overlooks Queens Park in Durham Street at around 3.30pm, before arresting one man – thought to be in his early 20s – at around 4.45pm.

POLICE VEHICLES PARKED ON GROUNDWELL ROAD

Earlier, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police confirmed that they were carrying out a drugs warrant at an address in Queensgate, but couldn’t provide any further comment while it was ongoing.
