Armed police swooped on a property in Swindon last night (Friday, 19 August).
Wiltshire Police closed Pinehurst Road in both directions to arrest a wanted male at around 8pm.
The road was blocked between The Venny field and Poplar Avenue as firearms officers, a dog unit and local police officers attended the address.
A man, wanted on a recall to prison, was arrested.
A force spokesperson said armed officers were deployed only as a precaution.
