Police have arrested people following a disorder involving weapons in Swindon on Friday.
Following a number of 999 calls from the public, Wiltshire Police deployed armed police officers and dog units to the scene in Penhill area at around 4pm yesterday afternoon.
Searches of the area were carried out and three males, aged 16, 17 and 20, were arrested on suspicion of affray and were taken to custody at Gablecross Police Station.
One man was found with minor cuts to his arm and leg, but did not require medical treatment.
Sergeant Richard Fay, from Swindon North Community Policing Team, said: “We want to reassure the public that we responded to this incident swiftly and now have three people in custody.
“You may see an increased police presence in the Penhill area this evening, but please do not be alarmed. These officers will mainly be there to provide reassurance to the community.
