Three air ambulance helicopters have landed at Commonweal School for a serious road traffic collision on a nearby main road this afternoon.

Kingshill Road, in Swindon, has been closed in both directions since around 12.30pm today, following the crash which is understood to involve a car, lorry and motorcycle.

The ambulance service says two casualties were ‘possibly in cardiac arrest’. The condition of these casualties has not yet been confirmed.

A private ambulance arrived at the scene at around 3.15pm.

We expect an update from Wiltshire Police imminently.
