A casualty has been rushed to hospital following an incident in Melksham this morning (Sunday).
The ambulance service was called to an address in Foundry Close, behind McDonald’s, at around 10am.
An ambulance crew, a paramedic officer and the Wiltshire Air Ambulance (WAA) critical care car attended.
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance was also tasked, landing at the Spencer Sports and Social Club.
WAA’s helicopter has been offline since 27 September for maintenance work and is due back this month.
A seriously unwell patient was taken to the Royal United Hospital for further treatment.
Police were not at the scene, suggesting the incident was purely medical. Further details are unknown.
